client: Bikram Yoga Loft

The bikram yoga loft is about to open next week, and I was approached by them a while a go to take care of their artwork and corporate design. An exciting project as their location and attitude is really unique for Vienna, easy going yet focused! So when they showed me some ideas where to go, it was a no-brainer to work on it!
We tried to combine a classic signmaker style with modern elements from either streetart or illustration, so there’s my signature doodles on them as well as a classic outline of their location. Colorsused are tones of blue to make a difference to other competitiors in the market … and it does look quite nice of course;)
There’s more to come including their website … so stay tuned! And if you want to have a look, opening party is scheduled for September 24th!

Logo for a reptile/snake farm working with a lot of new breeds. The only briefing I had was to come up with something that’s mainly typography, no icons. So we ended up adding a bit of splatters to make it stand out of the crowd!

For the kidrobot for swatch release we came up with something special: matching toys and watches from 2 private collections to show the link between these brands! A big thanks goes out to Wolfgang for organising the show, and also to swatch Austria for their support!
We went through over 500 watches and nearly as many dunnys to match them by color, style or theme and ended up displaying almost 50 toys and as many swatch watches … the similarities in designs or idea are amazing, and for everyone who couldn’t make it to the opening, here’s some pictures!

Good news for toy geeks and fans, we managed to bring over Joe Ledbetter for two days! So just a week after the release of the incredible kidrobot for swatch product release JLed will visit sixxa store vienna for a signing session this Friday! And that’s not all, as he’ll be at sneakerness as well, just in case you can’t make it to the store ;)

client: swatch Austria with sixxa store vienna
project: kidrobot collection release

For one of swatch’s main releases this year, they teamed up with designer toy company kidrobot and hosted release events all over the world. With sixxa beeing an important partner for swatch Austria to run this release, we hosted the exclusive opening party at our new location!
So next to setting up everything for the event (including a small pop up store) we also collaborated with swatch to invite swatch club members, toy geeks and other collectors to present the new sets, each containing a watch with matching toy!
Setting up for our first event at the adhocPAD was a test run, so we had a DJ, visuals, a great display of amazing products and free beer and snacks. 120 visitors throughout the evening were close to the maximum for the space, but worked really well. Thanks a lot to swatch Austria, Red Bull, Manner and of course the whole sixxa team for a perfect evening!
